JV Picks Up Vacant Sunset Office Plaza in Livermore
A joint venture between Minneapolis-based Hunter Street Partners (Hunter Street) and Mana Investments, an alternative investment firm that focuses on value-add investments, purchased Sunset Office Plaza, an office park comprising 10 single-story vacant office buildings totaling 78,747 square feet in Livermore, CA.
Zander Investment Co., which originally purchased the park in July 2015, according to CoStar data, sold the properties to the joint venture, which marks Hunter Street’s first acquisition since its launch in January 2018.
Built in 1978 on 13.5 acres, the park is near I-580 less than 30 miles from San Jose Airport.
“The investment is representative of the smaller, off-the-run opportunities in our pipeline across corporate finance, real estate and specialty finance,” said Andrew Platt, a partner at Hunter Street, in the company’s press release.
